Sunday Jazz Continues!! check us out  as we proceed and continue to do what we do!

Default settings? oh yeah! that means I’m  in jazz / funk mode! I can't help it! that vibe is  in my genes!! that’s the deal / that’s what it do!

Lets check out  this classic jazz funk with jazz rock vibes from violinist Noel Pointer's  funky track  Phantazia.

 This was recorded on Blue Note Records in 1977, the 70’s were prime time for that label. 

Since he was on Blue Note you know he has an all star cast playing with him.

The saga / struggle continues as Throwback Thursday thoughts have me "feeling some kind of way"; damn!! time is moving fast, checked the past episodes; damn!! did I miss that or this?

The saga / struggle continues as I go back to the future, self inflicted injuries had me getting sutures so let the healing process begin!!

Reflecting on past episodes while listening to some jazz; Sunday and Jazz go together as I like to say; memories of cruising down Broadway up in Louisville towards Shawnee Park was the play on a Sunday; that's what was happening!!

Sunday Jazz Continues!! We're listening to some disco jazz / movie soundtrack from Maynard Ferguson - Main Title from "Star Wars". 

This track features on  Alto Saxophone [Solo] Mike Migliore ; Guitar [Solo] – Steve Khan and of course on Trumpet [Solo] – Maynard Ferguson! 

They had help on  percussion from  Ralph MacDonald  and  on drums Peter Erskine.  Of course, he had an orchestra playing with him. Check it out / Let's Go!!
