I Guess It’s The Times We’re Living In (Part Ten)

 As I mentioned previously life is hectic! emphasized by this Monday morning that has pulled up on us, but don't get me wrong it’s a blessing to be here! a bonus!

Paid attention even though funds were low due to inflation even though corporations clocked windfall profits with CEO's receiving a fat bonus!

I guess it's the times we're living in as winds of change blow in these windfall prophets similar to Poor Righteous Teachers rocking this funky joint / dropping this knowledge after getting off the mothership that gets good mileage!

Noticed that these earthlings were disoriented from here in Atlanta to  Sudan, over  to Ukraine and even to the Orient and all points in between, bearing witness to how foul it can get!

I guess it's the times we're living in it's like the NBA playoffs we're just trying to win but darkness comes as we enter midnight's velveteen forest.

I guess it's the times we're living in! some already here? spotted some waiting in the darkness, are they for or against us? 

Trust issues? oh yes!! that dude Brotha O has plenty of them due to past episodes!

Trust me! life is good but like Cameo mentioned she's strange and but I like her! stranger things have happened out here in these danger zones so we're in defense modes!

O-Dizzle called them Attack Zones when he was up in the mix, excuse us but sometimes we'll launch sonic assaults, going on offense like Golden State Warriors throwing up three pointers!

Disrespect shown out there to E-40 but have the Warriors  met their match with the Sacramento Kings in a battle for Northern California?

Meanwhile society won't anoint me and my kind I guess it's the times we're living in!

It got lonely out there but we kept on running, we're not stopping or quitting!

…while out there on these intergalactic journeys out beyond Pluto and Mars avoiding these earthlings that want to see brothas on gurneys; lessons? your dude had to learn these so enjoying this life? it’s a bonus / prize! Healing rays received, check the style as the sun rises and the night shadows descend. Dealing with this! that’s the style for those wondering what the deal is from Lenox Mall in Atlanta to Chicago and the Magnificent Mile; we’re rejuvenated by the universe! blessings it’ll send.

What will the style be? we’ll keep wandering, we’ll blend in local / national / international and intergalactic frontiers, doing the damn thing!

Survival? per this so called post pandemic / inflationary world, check out how the beat dropped with echo and reverb! now some do the devil’s dance. Survival! caught up in the system/ matrix! what will the style be, dollar chasing? they never quit / stopped! a victim of desire? Systems of survival per Earth Wind and Fire needed? the madness? even though dude down in Nassau in the Bahamas wished it would it never stopped, it’ll just advance.

Putting Work In / Paying The Price / It's Business As Usual (Part Two)

We’re paying the price! per this also being a Flashback Friday we realized we’ve been doing this! it’s business as usual! somebody can “see what I’m saying”. 

Putting work in on Local, National, International and Intergalactic fronts! catch me out there on my moon base.

Captive to the tempo of intergalactic funk; caught up in the rhythm and that bass! It’s thumping! catch me putting work in from Pluto to Mars to I-20 in Atlanta to I-10 in Houston on out to I-80 in Oakland? per the Full Moon in Scorpio / Lunar Eclipse we’re even rocking within dawns ecliptic light. Celestial disco! all night long like Lionel Richie y’all feel me? we’re trying to let go of the stigma of our earthly plight.

You know we’ve been paying the price, due a rebate or refund; once again it’s on, it’s business as usual! but in my wildest dreams? I really didn’t think I’d be here.

Putting the work in, paying the price; it’s business as usual now bearing witness to steeped passions manifesting. No foreknowledge; only thing I knew was that it’s rough out here! had good and bad situations but reaped what I sowed out here. Had to acknowledge, God was with us! God is good all the time and all the time God is good; it’s all a blessing.

But I had to admit y’all; still stressing, feeling the pressure due to episodes playing out from here in Atlanta to Ukraine and even up to Buffalo!

Supreme courage and maximum strength is needed! we’re putting the work in / paying the price, in a society where price gouging is permitted per the post pandemic circumstances! it’s business as usual, we’re still going for what we know!
