The I-20 Chronicles / The Spring Forward Edition

We're  moving forward / we spring forward due to daylight saving time!! oh!! but we're still out here on I-20 in Atlanta dipping and diving. 

Listening to Sade, is it a crime?  reminded that we're dealing with the onslaught like we were at a Donald Trump rally!!  we'll shut it down like in Chicago,  soon we're arriving. 

Hell is caught per Natalie Cole *may she rest in paradise* /  meanwhile we're surviving, but it *ain't all nice* we're  dealing with the victories and defeats. 

...Down I-20 we continue to roll;  winning like Golden State Warriors and losing like Philly 76ers:  it's rough out in these streets. 

What's up money?  we're following Jill Scott's advice, living our life like it's golden, repelling the hate!! these spiritual warriors use funk from these streets!!  plus this good word is used as a weapon. 

We keep fighting like it's  ISIS in the Mideast!! but it's like Chicago music / jams we keep stepping. 

Enlightening the masses during the ongoing crisis,  not playing truth games like presidential candidates,  stretching the truth or reality as they know it. 

We spring forward like adjusting the clock!! will  we continue to rock?  you know it!!

We spring forward trusting in the Lord as devil's advocates knock the hustle, rushing the stage like I was Donald Trump...

We spring forward trusting in the Lord!! we're back with this flexing mental and physical muscle!! during this critical stage this good word is dropped and the beats thump...

The Recruiting Process PT.5

 Just got back from the Holiday Weekend: President's Day / Valentine's Day: now it's time to get down...

How did some play? said it'll be a bleak one per the President's play!! Supreme Court nominations are on deck,  R.I.P.  Antonin Scalia even though to my people he showed no respect; oh!! I remember how he put it down!!

The recruiting process? it's still going down!! Ted Cruz Supreme Court wolf tickets are sold / or crying wolf as some understand it.... 

I Can Understand It per Bobby Womack or maybe  the version by New Birth!! I go back, but futuristic check the funk  rebirth after the mothership landed..

I couldn't stand it!! what? the recruiting process!! these earthlings wanted me to join them, but they tried to play me like I was Boo Boo The Fool!!  

Living my life like it's golden per Jill Scott but earthlings scheme and plot!! just rode past the Gold Dome in Downtown Atlanta!! at the swap meet / flea market? gold plated merchandise awaits a fool!!

Time / Natural Processes

 Somebody lied!!  they were like Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones talking about time was on our side. 

Somebody cried!! like Republican letters to Iran  the dagger in the back was danger zone business when slick ones slide.

...through Babylon;  what are they on? it wasn't natural when sick ones ride for their doctrine. 

Some babble on like preachers and politicians!! it wasn't natural!! they might even ask for a jet as we get breakbeat scientific! we put in work and time on these missions even as these systems knocks them. 

This soul rebel rocks them when he *hollas at ya*  taking the time to handle this breakbeat scientific business. 

The devil will oppose; annoying like carpenter bees when  advocates handle his business!!  breaking and entering into auras stealing time!!  who knows what the deal is?
