The I-20 Chronicles (They Were Trying To Jam Me Up)

I was dipping down I-20 in Atlanta; this dude used things as an alternative fuel, but I'm no alternative fool;  how were they trying to play me? some called themselves trying to do me favors...

But at the end of the day they abused things; they were trying to jam me up like traffic on I-20 or maybe I-285 because of plane crashes;  now I'm playing it like Craig Mack is; I've got new flavors..

Changing; I've even got new behaviors / tactics; but actually?  I'm still the same..

Parallel Universe / Dimension Dwella; but a brotha is a Veteran In The Game..

Universal, but I'm on earth catching the blame; six o clock news, hospitals and prisons tell the story..

Staying In Motion / Ignoring The Commotion

Back in the day? I was up in Louisville rolling up in the old school / big bodied Checker Cab...

That's how I had to play!! I wasn't styling and profiling walking down that Kentucky Derby Red Carpet!! at that particular time corporations weren't hiring brothas; others resorted to the smash and grab...

Morale was low; nobody would work with me!! in the heart of the hood some were drunk / smoked out / they snorted;  soon they were all up in rehab,  but they continue to relapse..

Fast forward to this present moment!! damn!! where is everybody? dude in the John Blake article at CNN mentioned "They got big numbers or they in pine boxes" due to hustle knocks; Oh!! I'm seeing how they do!! due to the deliberate falsehood the whole structure will eventually collapse..

We look beyond the immediate moment but we're not losing a grasp on reality; like the National Guard leaving Baltimore we're staying in motion / ignoring the commotion !! we had to take a chance!!

Beats and prose are used to attack this and that; we had to stay on guard like a goalie trying to prevent the other team from trying to score!!  we refuse to be a victim of circumstance..

 Once Again It's On!!  these Random Thoughts are dropped per The Sonic Assault; a brotha fights back / sets it straight with the beat and prose..

Visualized The Sequence; what was taught? like Manny Pac and Floyd Mayweather Jr a Knockout Message was delivered by reality; now some are  out of it / comatose....

It's all game as I peep this;  what's up money? G-20 is supposed to cooperate to confront the financial meltdown in the world..

In the hood?  G-Money rolled up in the Infiniti G-20; oh no!! the profit margin wasn't right from the drug spot!! now the drama will unfurl...

What it do? What it does?  I was dipping down I-20 in Atlanta with a quarter tank of gas plus I noticed gas prices have went back up!! please!! I'm realizing that money is tight everywhere; in all parts of the world...

The I-20 Chronicles / Letting Them Do What They Do

I'm dipping down I-20 in Atlanta; I'm telling my constituents I wasn't mad at them!!  I was just letting them do what they do.

I understand another!! the stress had them on opiates and barbiturates!! damn!! like black cops charged in the Freddie Gray case in Baltimore the system had them!!  their endeavors were easy to see through. 

I checked their behavior, I could see how they play / what it do!!  I realize the seasons change!!  so I'm stepping into tomorrow like Donald Byrd. 

My reasons didn't change!!  its still all about freedom!! my endeavors are enforced with the brand new funk and this good word. 

Intergalactic like Space Shuttle Endeavour before it was retired!! but I was out there where shots were fired!! ear shattering gunshots exploded!! damn!! the treasons seemed strange!!  I didn't get an endorsement and the word on the curb said they're all mad at me.

Mathematics were studied!!  my reasons for dipping from the spot weren't strange they were God's blessings!! per the Miami Mass Choir what he had for me was for me. 

My methods to the madness weren't a one size fits all situation  like Wal Mart merchandise.

Dipping down I-20 in Atlanta rolling in the hooptie!! The saga / struggle continues / its real!! but  I got smart,  I'm at the service desk returning bogus merchandise. 

A brotha could see it *ain't nothing nice*  / it wasn't natural,  now I *holla atcha*  like this. 

Otherwise?  I let the people do what they do!!   I was on another path due to the last laugh;  I'm putting it down like this!

Paying the price; wise and otherwise find out how funky the sound is as the earthquakes like Nepal.

May Day!! MayDay!! that was the outcry!! so I didn't skate on thin ice!!  it was melting due to global warming!!

How will we play? we'll put it down like this!!  out here where the situation is out of control due to the gunfire; but we didn't retire,  we span the globe brainstorming!!

We're about to put it down like this,  even though the umpire is making bad calls; now check out the Freddie Gray protests and the Baltimore riots as the people show resistance..

Majority of the protests are peaceful but the media accents the imperfections; the empire is making bad calls!! but they can't call on James Bond in the Quantum of Solace..

Some will  attack the palace;  even the Terracota Army couldn't protect them!! now some are drunk and smoking that blond hash, about to reach comatose..

Meanwhile me and O-Dog know how foul it is!! we  Roll Up With A Small Army; we're fighting back with the beat and the prose....

Meanwhile the  ATL *playa playa*  was on that Teddy Pendergrass vibe telling the honey to close the door; he was encouraged to keep it pimping or *Play on Player* so he'll go all out for it!!

Plans weren't fail-safe!! freedom is on back order, plus ghetto passes are revoked!!  like Pharrell posing for Chanel some are out of order!!  meanwhile others play it like Master P,  thinking they're *Bout It Bout It*

Some are out of it; others are jumping and recognizing!!  now they're heard saying damn!! I'm not with this!!
