Digital Crate Digging Continues; we’re checking out this classic soul / funk track from Johnnie Taylor – with a track called Disco Lady (Long Version).
 
This has always been one of my favorite tracks. While researching I found out that members of P-Funk, including bassist Bootsy Collins, keyboardist Bernie Worrell, and guitarist Glenn Goines provided the sound. Telma Hopkins is one of the background vocalists here. No wonder it was so funky!! Check it out!!
